The PMG were proud to once again be associated with Europe’s biggest free festival, Liverpool International Music Festival at Sefton Park from Thursday 20th to Sunday 23rd July.
The incredible line up included performances from Gorgon City, Corinne Bailey Rae and Fuse ODG as well as bespoke club nights with Trevor Nelson, Norman Jay and a hip-hop extravaganza with DJ Stretch Armstrong, Slick Rick, Jungle Brothers and DJ Red Alert.
As well as all of that, there was a one off special presentation of GARAGE CLASSICAL, a special performance curated by DJ Spoony which featured the Royal Northern College of Music’s 45 piece Orchestra and band, alongside some of UK Garage’s all stars – Kele Le Roc, Elizabeth Troy, Richie Dan, Lonyo, Lifford, Sweet Female Attitude, NayNay and DJ Pied Piper alongside The Masters OF Ceremonies.
The PMG undertook production management duties for the special commission of Garage Classical, as well as stage management duties for the Academy stage which saw some of Liverpool’s up and coming bands being given the opportunity to showcase their music in the festival.
We would like to thanks and congratulate Liverpool City Council on their commitment and vision to the event, and look forward to working with LCC next year.
