One of the services we provide under our Creative Consultancy wing is talent development, specifically music talent. With many years experience, we pride ourselves on not only understanding emerging talent needs and the marketplace wants, but also being able to combine strategy with action, to create real progress. We are currently heading up two projects – the Levi’s Music Project and the LIMF Academy.
Aimed at artists, bands and producers between the ages 16-25 from across Merseyside, the LIMF Academy gives new music creators exclusive access to activities and insider know-how from the music industry. The award winning initiative was conceptualised by THE PLAYMAKER GROUP’s Yaw Owusu, who continues to drive it to this day. Every year the Academy collaborates with an orchestra to present new talent and their music in a brand new way. This year on Thursday 31st Jan, the Academy combines the raw talent of three of the 2018-2019 artists, LUNA, Kyami, Raheem Alameen and Academy alumni and PMG artist Sub Blue with the ever-exquisite Ignition Orchestra. The collaboration will see an evening of one off performances of the artists’ original songs as well as cover versions of impactful songs from pioneering female music artist.
The music will be arranged and composed by Katie Chatburn.
