It’s Yaw Owusu picking our track of the week and its from the North London rapper Ebenezer who’s about to make a big wave.
This kid Ebenezer is something special…
He has just released his debut album 53 Sundays but he is relatively unknown despite links to a few international stars (Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih, Craig David). Now I could have picked many songs of this project to be my track of the week – including the awesome title track ’53 Sundays’ which has an equally impressive video. However I think the album cut ‘Mercy’ featuring Kojey Radical has to be my pick. Some gospel-soulful vibes – mixed with some real rap and stories. Reminds me of something Kanye would have done on College Dropout with a modern UK twist…
