Liam Broughton picks our track of the week and it’s the return of Theophilus London after his ‘Vibes’ album back in 2014…
Although his music is hit and miss I do like Theophilus London, I admire his creativity and trying to create interesting sounds. His new one is definitely a hit for me however. ‘Only You’ is a disco influenced track sampling Steve Monite’s version from 1984. It has an unexpected feature in Tame Impala, they even have a duo name ‘Theo Impala’. It’s bouncy, funky and has left me wanting more music from the 2 artists.
